Vaccinations don't prevent you from getting it, they help your body have an easier time fighting it off.

Actually MOST every vaccination does prevent you from getting the thing it protects against. The vaccinations for the COVID don't.

A. Didn't get it.
B. Or Got over it quickly.
C. And if they did get it... Never got it twice.

And then I compare that against the people I know who ARE vaccinated, who:

A. Contracted it at a higher percentage compared to my non vaxxed folks.
B. Have contracted it many times.
C. Two folks I know are dead after getting the vaccines and then dying from COVID.

B. Got it and got over it quickly.

D. I’ve been vaccinated and exposed to people who had the virus many times but I have not contracted it myself.

The same way I’m, supposedly, fearmongering by stating the fact that unvaccinated people with natural immunity are just as susceptible to the new variants (the ones vaccinated people are getting infected with) as vaccinated people.

Look, I’m not a liberal or a Biden supporter. I just don’t like to see conservatives do the same thing liberals do. Yes, what Biden said in a town hall a year ago turned out to be incorrect but I wouldn’t say he was lying. He said what he believed at the time and the vaccines were proven to be effective against the initial strain. But to say that, since vaccines are not effective against new variants, means Biden lied is like saying anyone who said natural immunity is as (or more) effective than vaccinations also lied.
