The best cure for Christianity is reading the Bible.

And also, you've read the Bible. I've read the Bible, Quran, Vedas, and Buddhavacana. We are not the same.

I haven't read The Vedas, but I have read the Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita & the Mahabharata. The latter struck me as a prototype for the New Testament.

I have also read the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Kalevala, the Mabinogian, the Sappho fragments, the four Chinese classics, Tao Te Ching, The Story of Kieu, the Popul Vuh, the Walam Olum, & many others.

I also have various Native legends stored in my mind. Oral tradition is a thing.

Fun fact, btw, a coworker is actively studying Mark right next to me right now while taking notes on his iPad. XD

One of my favorite go-tos in debates with right-wing sorts is Bible quotes! I haven't read any of those other texts yet (with the exception of the Mabinogian & the Diné Bahaneʼ).
