The SCOTUS did not take that away from you, they turned back over to the people of the several individual States to decide the issue, where it belongs. Seeing as how the Constitution doesn’t enumerate abortion as a Federal issue, it belongs to the several individual States and their citizens to decide the issue, as per the
10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights of the US Constitution.
