I wholeheartedly agree with that statement.

But the confederates supported slavery, meaning that even though they sought rebellion, their morals were poor and the flag was created from the get go to represent the slavery supporting confeds.

Southerners today are not the same people as the ones in the days of slavery. When they left the Democrat party it wasn't because of racial issues because unlike Democrats of today, no one else obsesses over race. The much, much, much bigger concern back then was all about Communism. People used to build underground shelters. It wasn't so they would never have to see a black person, it was because of the Cold War and the threat of nuclear annihilation. The Democrat were busy trying to become Communists and so everyone who believed in freedom ran away from that party. Those who stayed were communists, socialists, Neo-Nazis, fascists and a whole lot of people who weren't paying any attention. Because it was the communists, socialists, Neo-Nazis and fascists who made up the Progressive movement of the early 20th century. Those Democrats openly and publicly praised Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini. Those Democrats are the ones who make up today's Democrat party.

So the Confederate battle flag is just a flag. It no longer symbolizes the war between the states because that war has long ended. It does not symbolize racism, unless you are a race obsessed Democrat who is on a constant witch hunt to trying to find a racist anywhere they can, so that they can feel good about themselves. Yes, the KKK used it but that makes no difference because the KKK also uses the U.S flag and a bunch of other stuff that we just take for granted. Just because a Klansman owns a TV does not mean that TV's are racist. The same with the flag. It is a really hard concept for leftists to understand because they are so obsessed with race that that is all they can ever see when they see that flag.

But here's another really hard concept for the left to grasp, freedom. This is (or was) the land of the free. That means if I want to fly a Confederate battle flag in front of my house then that is my right. I would not be hurting anyone, I am not supporting the return of the CSA. It isn't even the flag of the CSA. It would just mean that I am proud of where I was born. Nothing more and nothing less. That all being said, I do not fly a Confederate battle flag in front of my house because of left. You have turned that flag into a flag of racism, even some conservatives think it means racism because of your party's obsession with race, which, by the way, IS racist.

You can try to deny it all you want but did you ever ask why the Democrat party did not try to stop Antifa from vandalizing, looting, burning, destroying and killing people for most of the year of 2020. The Dems didn't lift a finger. And who is antifa? A collection of misfits and morons who actually believe that fascism exists in this country. They believe that communism is the antidote for this pseudo fascism. They were quick to arrest people associated with the Jan 6th riot but they didn't lift a finger. Why is that?

If you are a communist and someone deviates from the version of communism that you and others like you hold near to your heart then it is time to get out the firing squad. Both Hitler and Mussolini started off as socialists. They each came up with their own ideas about how socialism should work. Mussolini called his version of socialism, fascism. Hitler called his variation of socialism, the National Socialist German Worker's Party (or Nazi). In Italy the socialists murdered Mussolini for deviating slightly with his fascism. In Germany, Hitler had all of the socialists killed.

All 4 regimes are leftist regimes, regardless what your college professor or the left wing (aka mainstream) media are telling you. All 4 have been heavily influence by Marx.

Heck, the German Socialist Party existed before Hitler joined and took over its leadership.

That's clearly the facts. I am not trying to insult but how old are you? Were you alive during the cold war? Did you have atomic bomb drills in school like I did when I was a kid? Nikita Khrushchev told us that he would "bury" us. We weren't that far away from WWII where we had to beat down socialism and fascism. Then we got our butts handed to us in North Korea and we were about to go into Vietnam. Both North Korea and Vietnam, we ended up fighting China as well. The Chinese communists sent soldiers into both wars.

My goodness, Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged", "The Fountainhead" and other books were her reaction to seeing what she had escaped happening here. She was born in the Soviet Union and escaped.

I saw several unedited videos from that night. One had sound. There were gunshots going off all around the area. You could see the muzzle blasts everywhere. Kyle fired 3 shots that night out of hundreds. It wasn't the Proud Boys or any other conservative group the left hates doing all of that shooting. It was Antifa and other pro-communist groups who showed up to burn down Kenosha. Each person Kyle shot was actually trying to kill him. He got lucky.

It was Truman's desegregation of the Military and civil rights initiatives that spurred the racist Southern Dixiecrats to splinter off, and when that party floundered, caused them to start joining the Republican Party.
