I feel this on a deep and spiritual level.
Also these exist in America. There's a database where you can find a commune near you and there's an interesting variety of them. Some do require some sort of monetary fee and some are specific to certain belief systems. Christian only, vegan only, no smoking, etc. but it's a great option for anyone legitimately interested in this lifestyle.
