Then build it in a place where the people and state want it to go through. Can’t do that? Build a new refinery.

sounds great let's apply that to everything going forward, all power is now return to the county level or state level.becuase the state overwhelmingly were in favor of the keystone pipeline. If a local rual county opposes turning 15k acres into a parking lot to generate solar energy for some city so be it ...screw them.

The northern states were not overwhelmingly in favor of the extension, though. That is why several federal permits were required and why a simple executive order doomed it.

Had the states supported it, it would not have been an issue at all.

Last I checked Nebraska , south Dakota, and Montana were red and very much in favor of it.

You are correct that it would not have gone through North Dakota.

Oh, so people who lie that it’s shut down, when it’s actually in operation, are just being symbolic in their lies.

Okay, I just assumed they were misinformed.

Well unless if you can time travel back to the past and bring pre great switch Republicans to the present, I doubt you'll find any worth voting for.

Probably. But at this point it’s more to her less fundamentalist radical judges off the Supreme Court.

What you don't understand is that just the announcement to shut it down caused a massive jump in prices. We aren't a fiat economy. We are a rumor economy.

The extension’s construction permit was revoked January 2021 by executive order.

Gas prices began to hit record highs starting early spring of 2022.

Please explain how the correlation equals causation.

It takes time for people to get the news and for the price to go up.

"Please elaborate how I am a liberal and suffering from Stockholm."

Biden and his Administration's actions are indefensible. This is the most pathetic collection of miscreants to be seen in one place in the history of this country, which is saying a lot.

And yet, you attempt to defend them by countering, "He NeVeR ShUt AnY piPeLINeS dOWn!" The idiocy of such a defense as the US "enjoys" the worst inflation to be seen in over 40 years, along with record illegal immigration, disastrous foreign policy, and the promotion of ever immoral wickedness imaginable. That last issue is likely the foundation for all the other ill-conceived and anti-American policies that come from Biden and his Party.

You don't have to care about God, nor what He thinks, but He has told us, frequently, what happens to wicked nations. This chapter in Isaiah reads like it was ripped from today's headlines. Not that you have eyes to read it, but read it anyway- perhaps God will help you understand the obvious in spite of your self-inflicted blindness.

Or don't read it. You are practicing a serious case of denial, merged and acerbated by an equally serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Reality has never been the friend of the liberal.

By stating facts? Fascinating.

What is most hilarious is that you have to completely ignore how inflation and rising gas prices coincided with the immediate change in energy policy from the Biden Administration. Moreover, you have to totally forget how Democrats clearly stated in the past that their intentions are to raise energy prices, to essentially put the current energy industry out of business.

Truly, ignorance that boggles the mind, so deeply inset as it is in your psyche.

I am ignorant for stating a fact and ignoring your talking points easily debunked by facts.

Fact: there is a global inflation due to the pandemic.

Fact: this global inflation has exacerbated global gas prices, not just the US.

Fact: If the entire world is suffering, then Biden’s policies alone are not the primary cause of the issue.

Are Biden’s policies exacerbating the issue? Arguably, yes. But are they cause? No.

And has Biden shut down any oil pipelines? No.

"I am ignorant for stating a fact and ignoring your talking points easily debunked by facts.'
A: Your interpretation of the facts is the problem, not the facts.

"Fact: there is a global inflation due to the pandemic."
A: Fact: there is global inflation due to the exploitative policies of liberals around the world, including those in the US. A mere flu is no reason to derail the world's economies.

"Fact: this global inflation has exacerbated global gas prices, not just the US.'
A: Fixed it for you: "This liberal policy fueled global inflation has . . .

"Fact: If the entire world is suffering, then Biden’s policies alone are not the primary cause of the issue."
A: Fact: thanks to the sinfulness of the human heart, that has been and always will be world suffering. The policies in America, as one of the world's key economies, will indeed affect the rest of the world. Biden's cooperation with the globalists in countries around the world are to blame. I am an American citizen, and while I am concerned with what leaders in other countries do, my only true concern is what the illegitimate President of the United States is doing that directly and immediately impacts my life, the lives of my family and friends and neighbors. Biden has effectively sold out our country's sovereignty to the rest of the world- his policies are a primary cause in this country.

"Are Biden’s policies exacerbating the issue? Arguably, yes. But are they cause? No."
A: Of course they are not the cause, as many of these problems have been in place thanks to the tireless efforts of the Democrat Party, of which he has been a member of for 50+ years, and in DC making things progressively worse. He didn't start his work on destroying this country, while enriching himself, in 2020; he has been doing this for decades.

What's most pathetic about you and those like you, is that Biden has a long and storied and VISIBLE history. He is not just a total embarrassment to the US as our fake president, the man is an embarrassment to humanity, as witnessed by the increasingly exposed scandals surrounding him and his son.

"And has Biden shut down any oil pipelines? No."
A: He has, however, made it nearly impossible to increase production in the US. Policies make the difference, and the markets respond. He is responsible for all the downtrends in every economic sector, and you are a fool if you think otherwise, a desperate fool, as this cannot be denied by anyone not in total denial.

What interpretation? Zero pipelines have been shut down. Keystone is running.

“Fact: there is global inflation due to the exploitative policies of liberals around the world,”

Fair enough. There are certainly more liberals around the world than there are here at home. I doubt Biden cancelling an extension to a pipeline that is up and running significantly contributed to that.

“The policies in America, as one of the world's key economies, will indeed affect the rest of the world.”

And it is not the only key economies. Russia and China can also significantly effect the economy. And arguably has based on the fact gas prices began their rise at the start of Russia war with Ukraine. I agree that global Climate Change policies have also significantly impacted gas prices, but even if China and the US has remained independent of such global policies, the rest of the world’s economic policies would be very much in the same position even under the most conservative Republican administration.

The extension would’ve only increased production by 15% amongst a 200% increase. Blaming the extension on the global gas inflation is like complaining of a leaky faucet in a basement flooded by a tsunami. And blaming the faucet alone.

I at least agree that climate change policies have significantly impacted the rise in gas prices, though. As has the war in Ukraine.

“What's most pathetic about you and those like you… is that Biden… is.. total embarrassment to the US”

I agree. I also believe the same of Trump. I am most anxious to vote in a Republican come 2024. Unless it’s Trump. If it is, I guess I’ll vote for the objectively least embarrassing. I understand you may disagree but let’s be honest. If you really believe Biden shut down an oil pipeline or was not the real victor of the 2020 election then your objectivity is at the very least questionable. But if you believe Trump would be better, that’s fair. I won’t judge you for your opinion as you have mine.

“He has, however, made it nearly impossible to increase production in the US. “

Not impossible, no. Difficult at this time, perhaps. I’m sure a Republican President can easily reverse his policies. As can individual states should they be so inclined.

If the Republicans put forth a moderate candidate in 2024, you may see your most egregious complaints reversed in less than 2 years.

Playground bs is saying Biden shut down pipelines, and not expensive, dangerous, and ultimately fruitless extensions that nobody in the cities and states it ran through wanted.
