There's not much that drops faster than Biden's poll numbers. Gravity isn't that fast. So maybe give Trump a little slack if they don't drop faster than gravity. They will drop and that is guaranteed regardless if it is Trump or someone even more economically minded (like Ron de Santis, if he runs).

America has no legally elected legitimate leader we stand with the real president. Trump

Well the US is the largest economy in the world.... And he controls the Federal Reserve... And he also has large areas of influence like closing pipelines...

So....

Okay, so literally 10% of the world's economy controls THE ENTIRE world economy and NOT the capitalist system you guys like so much?
2 ups, 2y
I'm not saying he is direct control over the entire world's economy. I'm saying he has great influence over the world's largest economy, which in turn influences other economies. And he also controls the Federal reserve, which is for the most part responsible for inflation.

He issued an executive order on his first day in office to shut down the XL expansion.

“The Keystone XL pipeline, a privately funded project, would double the current capacity of oil transported in the U.S. per day, provide the U.S. with a more stable source of crude oil, and significantly increase employment and capital within America.”

All those things would have been nice to have wouldn’t they? Democrats and you believe Joe has not hindered the oil business in spite of his openly stating he was gonna put them out of business. He guaranteed it. Yet here you are pretending he hasn’t he’s doing everything he can to ease the shortage. How ridiculous. Gas prices are high because the New Liberal World Order demands it.

He shut down the extension, yes.

The Keystone Pipeline is very much still active. And it is producing the same amount of oil as it was under Trump. (If not more given the last I read it saw either a 0.5% or 5% increase since 2021)

No pipeline has been shut down by Biden.

I’m not defending anything. Just correcting another bogus claim.

YOU ARE DELUTIONAL! Obiden shut down the Keystone pipeline's construction into the US the VERY FIRST day he entered the Oval office! In his campaign, he promised to ELIMINATE fossil fuel! Where the hell have you been?! And what kind of drugs are you taking?! Obiden is 100% responsible for EVERYTHING that ails America! He is Obama on STEROIDS!

Keystone Pipeline is already constructed. It’s extension, the Keyston XL was shutdown, yes. But the original pipeline is very much still operational.

But by all means, keep ranting and raving over the facts that you find so delusional.

Yes, you can find out the keystone pipeline, not the extension is operational.

I accept your concession to my facts.

I have nothing to look up but it appears you do.

GO ahead and STAY IGNORANT...I JUST DO NOT CARE!
1 up, 2y
Clearly you do.

But evidently nothing to inform me of my alleged ignorance.

You failed to identify a single pipeline that Biden supposedly shut down and named one he instead ended an extension.

So I fail to see exactly what I am ignorant of except your feelings.

Which the facts certainly don’t care about.

Note it says it would have doubled capacity. So in effect he shut down half its capacity. Twisting the facts to support your leftist narrative isn’t shutting down a bogus claim.
0 ups, 2y,

Twisting facts is saying a pipeline was shutdown when in fact no pipeline was shut down. Only it’s extension was impacted by Biden. It’s not producing less than it was either, so saying it’s operating at half capacity based on an estimate is also twisting facts.

It’s a bogus claim regardless of narrative.

Keystone pipeline is up and running.

Biden has shut down zero pipelines.

The extension was cancelled, yes, but we had no such extension during our so-called energy independence era.

Do you need me to clear anything else up for you or do you still want to make the erroneous claim that Biden is shutting down pipelines?

He shut down its extension, reducing its potential capacity. It would have greatly increased the United States non-OPEC oil consumption. But no. Joe stopped the extension from being built.

Also, it's not just pipelines.

Biden shut down zero pipelines.

No, thank you for the same.

Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline extension.

Also, the pipeline isn't the only thing he did that negatively impacted domestic energy production (see article).

But I've conceded no point of yours. You've stated facts, yes. But you also incorrectly stated that Biden shut down a pipeline when he did not.

He only shut down an extension.

Is this correct?

Bear in mind, if you do not answer this question (correctly or otherwise), you are still conceding my point while I concede none of yours. ;)

He shut down an extension, which is a pipeline in and of itself, and thus has shut down a pipeline. He didn't shut down the original Keystone, but we all knew that...
0 ups, 2y
That’s right. We all knew Biden shut down zero pipelines.

“Please name one pipeline Biden has closed.”

That’s why the sufficient response to my original imperative statement should’ve been:

NONE!

*sigh*

I don't know how much simpler I can make this.
Biden shut down the Keystone XL Extension.
The original is running, but the extension was shut down.
It doesn't matter whether or not he had right to. The issue is that he did it. And besides, I have a sneaking suspicion you would have made the exact opposite argument had the extension been planned under a Democrat and closed by a Republican.

And, as I have stated before, that's not the only issue. If he would have made gas cheap without the pipeline, we wouldn't have cared. But no. He sends our reserves overseas to China, India, and Europe.

I will let you get the last word in, since you are so set in your beliefs. But that doesn't mean you are correct.

“And besides, I have a sneaking suspicion you would have made the exact opposite argument had the extension been planned under a Democrat and closed by a Republican.”

It was planned under a Democrat. And he had no intent to see it through.

Are you saying perhaps you would be making the exact opposite if it was closed by a Republican? So, what? You only support Republicans decisions whether good or bad.

Given how I’m a registered Republican only makes your comment more asinine and shows you value corporate interests over the families who fought long and hard over the illegal extension.

There are no beliefs here.

Just correcting you on your facts.

Biden shut down zero pipelines. Anyone stating otherwise is a liar.

Also, that proves nothing. Just because I didn't type the full name of something doesn't mean I am wrong about it.
0 ups, 2y
You didn’t forget to type a name. You stated he shut down a pipeline when he did not.

Let’s not add lying to your unreliable knowledge of the facts. That just makes you look sad.

And that screenshot proves.. what, exactly?

He did shut down a pipeline. The Keystone XL Extension. Don't see what's so hard to grasp here.

On a slightly different topic, but still relevant to fuel prices, "No Malarkey Joe" just sent 5million barrels of oil from the U.S. Reserve overseas.

He did not shut down a pipeline. The keystone pipeline is very much operational.

He ended construction on an extension which had no constitutional right to exist in the first place given that it went through both federally protected and private land.

The Trump administration had zero authority to order those lands be surrendered to the federal government for a private company to exploit.
0 ups, 2y
The screenshot shows your confusion on the difference of a pipeline and an extension.

No pipeline has been shut down.
