.... you're quoting two teenage girls saying they're happy to see each other.

The truth that the Bible passage you're quoting was based on the fact that teenage girls have always been known to talk in hyperbolic exaggeration?

I'm more comfortable than I've ever been in my life.

It's hilarious that Christians today try to use that verse as an indication that fetuses inside the womb can hear and understand good news and respond accordingly. If that were the case, why don't we see that happening all the time or even some of the time?

Luke 1:5-7

In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah; and he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
They were both righteous in the sight of God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.
But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren . . .

. . . and they were both advanced in years.

"And then the Lord said if Elizabeth says it, it must be true" is still not in there.

"Ok. It's still not in there though."

As it turns out, imgflip theologian, it is in there.

2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, . . .

Even if a person was ignorant enough to ignore the obvious divine nature of the Bible, they certainly would not be stoopid enough to believe that human male authors would include such a flimsy testimony. If they are making this all up, why would they do that? Maybe just so stoopid people, living 2000 years later, could come to stoopid conclusions?

That's one more thing I just LOVE about liberals- they is just SOOOO smart that they are experts on absolutely everything, including things they know absolutely nothing about.

So every character in the Bible is acting on agency of God and their word can be taken as an extension of his divine will?

Cool. King Herod said you can kill children up to two and a half years old.

You've solved the abortion debate 😁 good job

"..........textual context was my entire point in the first place!!!"

Well, you got it really, really wrong.

Herod did not say you can kill children up to 2 1/2 years old- he commanded it to be done as a one time event, in an attempt to exterminate Jesus.

You will find all sorts of sinful behavior of those whose lives are on display in the Scriptures, but this is neither direct nor tacit approval on God's part. It is, however, a proof of the veracity of the Scriptures, as it would be rare indeed for writers to air their heroes' dirty laundry for the world to see.

My question to you is this- are you truly this clueless, or were you just being contrary for the fun of it? It is hard to believe anyone is that dense, so I question your motives.

"the obvious divine nature of the Bible"

A book which contains any mistakes at all would not be obviously divine in nature, and the Bible contains many mistakes, errors, and contradictions. That's because it was written by humans who didn't know any better.

So now God is being forced upon society? Aren't we in America where there is a freedom of religion? And what if I said that believers don't even know what they believe? Live and let live. Some book written by multiple people with visions and stories is just as believable as fill in the blank.

You obviously know nothing about the Bible, but that never stops a lib from speaking about it anyway.

The point of the post is that regardless of where mankind's laws fall and rise, God does not change.

As to forcing God on society- is having laws against murder the same as forcing God on society, or are laws against murder, theft, false witness ideas we can all agree on? If so, then murdering unborn human beings is not equal to forcing God on anyone.

This really comes down to the fact that the unborn cannot defend themselves, so "out of sight, out of mind", and the Left has done a wonderful, Hitler-esk job of dehumanizing them to make this barbaric practice more palatable.

"You obviously know nothing about the Bible, but that never stops a lib from speaking about it anyway"

And when people who don't agree with you point out what it says, accurately and in the proper context, you don't like that so you just pretend that they don't understand it at all.

"The point of the post is that regardless of where mankind's laws fall and rise, God does not change"

Good for him. That doesn't change the fact that he doesn't make the laws in this country.

"This really comes down to the fact that the unborn cannot defend themselves"

And yet god is okay with killing them

Your comments are that of an insolent child . . .

Sorry, a truck driving, children's show loving, insolent child.

Your god doesn't make the laws in the United States

And he's a baby killer, according to the Bible
