Why do kids need to learn calculus? You see the thing about you progressive types is you don’t understand how progress works, you have to prove how something is better than it was before. So homeschool your children and teach your 10 year old calculus prove they can learn have your friends do that, show that they progress farther than the kids around them other wise keep your mouth shut.

That's literacy rates in ENGLISH.
As you can see in both charts, the 5 lowest ranking states have the highest numbers of immigrants. However, as you can also see from both charts, the states inhabited by those you referred to in defense of don't exactly have that excuse, despite their low rankings as well.
