Here’s a remedial explanation for you.
1. The post is targeting the religious right which 99.99999999999999% of the time is Christians. So clearly that’s the focus.
2. I said NO “official” praying in schools is being requested by Serious Christians (again the target implied by the post). Christians already pray and do not need some government nonsense prayer foisted on them. There was ZERO exclusion of other faiths praying or not praying privately. I’m sure they do too. I’m likewise sure they would not like secular humanism prayers to earth mother or granite countertops inflicted on them. But since the focus was implied clearly as Christians, my comment was kept on topic.
3. You switched subjects (liberal tactic) to claim a different thing. That I had said “Christian prayer was okay but nothing else is”. I corrected you that I didn’t say that (or imply it). But to your point, as a Christian it’s also true. Praying to any one but THE only True and Living God Jehovah is meaningless. You brought it up. I agreed. I’m sure a Muslim feels the same way about their false god too. As that is not the focus of this thread and you have a complete answer this point will not be discussed further.
So there you go. Had you just actually read the initial reply you’d have not wasted so much of both our time with silly irrelevant comments.
