Maxine waters would be proud of the violence

I have met Ms. Waters in a confrontational situation. She was not violent. She did not advocate for violence. She is allowed to be angry and to express that anger peacefully. Bellicosity is accepted political posturing. Advocating for violence is not. Remember when Trump told his followers to beat up a protester at one of his rallies, and that he'd pay their legal bills? In my 74-years I have never heard another American politician say anything like that.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/19/politics/maxine-waters-derek-chauvin-trial/index.html She called for protesters to get in the streets and "get more confrontational", and those protests led to billions of property damage and numerous deaths. She was also trying to influence the outcome of the trial (which I believe was a success) with the mobs of protesters.

Did she witness the physical assault by her followers, and encourage them to as a group "beat the hell," out of him? Get back to me when the route between her and an act of violence is not many layers and on a circuitous route. You have to create a relationship between what she said and violent acts days, weeks and months after the fact. Trump called for violence when his followers had the guy in their grips. On 1-6-21, the violence came within a couple hours of his encouragement.

Is this what you are referring to about Trump encouraging violence? Someone disrupting a rally by throwing things on stage is considered an attempted assault. Good job blaming the victim. If people are going to one of his rallies just to disrupt and throw things at the stage then they deserve to be physically removed at the least. Just like streakers at professional sports games or people who run into the ring during a wrestling, boxing or MMA match they should be tackled and removed.

oh and on January 6 Trump said "I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." Want another quote out of that speech? "Anyone you want, but I think right here, we're going to walk down to the Capitol, and we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we're probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them." Walking and cheering or not cheering for some. And here's a line almost at the end of the speech "The Democrats are hopeless — they never vote for anything. Not even one vote. But we're going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones because the strong ones don't need any of our help. We're going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country." The entire theme of the speech is to go down to the Capitol Building to shout and cheer on the people inside to not certify the election. Nowhere in that speech does he call for violence. And the violence at the Capitol started before Trump finished his speech.

After the speech he called for the protesters to remain peaceful. Days before Jan.6 Trump offered National Guard troops for added security, which was rejected by Nancy Pelosi, who is responsible for security around the Capitol Building as Speaker of the House. https://justthenews.com/government/congress/trump-pentagon-first-offered-national-guard-capitol-four-days-jan-6-riots-memo These are all facts you ignore just to paint Trump as this monster you perceive him to be while you brush aside anything the Democrats do that is worse than anything Trump ever did.

I hit the max characters for a comment I think. Continuing on.......

Also the worst violent acts that have happened to elected officials during Trump's presidency were against Republicans. Rand Paul being attacked by his neighbor https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/congressman-steve-scalise-shot-alexandria-virginia-park-n772111 and the wounding of Steve Scalise and three others https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/congressman-steve-scalise-shot-alexandria-virginia-park-n772111 That attack was by a former Bernie Sanders campaign staffer.

You keep making Trump out to be a monster that he is not, while not calling out his opponents that do far worse. You have proven over and over again that you will subvert your own supposed standard just to attack Trump. So for now on I will call you Larry Canard, because like Trump's favorite criticism of the media, you're FAKE NEWS.

They aren’t just deaf, they have a blind eye turned towards anything that shows their own hypocrisy.

Here's Biden expressing his wish to beat up his political opponent

You miss that one in your 74 years?

Did he tell guys who were in the middle of an assault, to "beat the hell out of him?" I don't go to sites. But, if he said he'd like to punch someone, it is different than actual assault, or conspiracy.

He was advocating for violence. Over a false claim. On his political opponent. Stop splitting hairs. Neither was presidential behavior but you only cry over one.

As predicted, the Trolls came out. They are sooooooooo boring. Blame someone else. Make false equivalency claims. Boring.

Did anyone else see the news story about Trump's star losing its shine with GOP donors, and many in the party? His apologists are losing luster, also. As I predicted, the trials of his co-conspirators and the Jan 6 Committee hearings, are weighing the right wing down. With the Left energized with the Roe v. Wade debacle, "Blue in '22," sounds more possible every day.
