I’m trying to imagine what would happen if, in a 5-4 decision — including 3 very recently-minted liberal justices — the Supreme Court rejected 50 years of its own precedent and ruled that the 2nd Amendment is merely a suggestion and that states are free to enter citizens’ homes to confiscate private weapons arsenals.

Imagine the hell that RWNJ gunowners would unleash on said justices, dial it back by 1000x — that’s about the level of violence we’re seeing from “Leftists” now.

Where as it is known that the police stood by and let the Jan 6 people in. They even unlock magnetic lock doors for them to walk on inside. Funny huh? Oh and don't forget how your side paused Jan 6 hearings to call for an Insurrection.

These “BLM riots” continued for 6 months (longer, actually — up to a year or more) if you watched FOX News. If you actually live in one of the cities that supposedly burned down, as I do, they were over in a couple weekends.

That said, these things can happen when the police murder people without justification! It’s kind of in our American DNA!

But what is entirely new in American history is a defeated Presidential candidate rallying his own supporters to try to effectuate a coup, ending the peaceful transfer of power in our independent history as a nation. That is brand new, as of Jan. 6, 2021.

And as you point out, in some cases, the Capitol Police were caught off-guard. No one expected white people to get this rowdy!

But in one other case, the Capitol Police decided to play Good Guy With a Gun and sent one of these MAGA traitors straight to the pits of hell. See, e.g. Ashli Babbitt. And actually, she’s the only traitor who was shot, which is remarkable under the circumstances.
