The theory among journalists is that MSNBC and CNN are losing so much money that even their money bags holding companies are saying "These people have got to move closer to the political center rather than way out on the extreme Left". In other words . . . aside from the ever shrinking inner core of leftist lunatics nobody is buying their lies any more. Thus even Rachel Maddow has now got to act -- every once in a while -- as if she were a real journalist rather than a political officer for the Dem Party.

Top brass has told the marketing department to tell the script writers to figure out a way to stop the loss of viewers.
Kinda like the addition of Tucker Carlson over at Faux News, due to Bill O'Really and Sean Insanity becoming NPC's.
The problem is that these people have an issue with repenting. Sure I'll forgive someone for lying to me BUT if they don't repent, I'll never believe what they say after the act of forgiveness.
They do not believe that they are doing anything wrong, because liberalism has become their true religion . . . not discovering the facts and then reporting them in a politically neutral manner. .
