Black History Month was born, if I’m not mistaken, out of the Harlem Renaissance. It was founded by black intellectuals at a time when the prevailing opinion was that blacks were associated with primitive institutions like slavery that kept them dumb and poor. The intention was to bring awareness and celebration to the achievements of black people.
You folks misunderstand why we have Black History Month or Pride Month. These populations had to struggle just because of their backgrounds and who they are. White men and heterosexuals were never oppressed because of their identities.
"Fixes"? You think the government has any intention of fixing anything? They love the division and chaos. And libs love useless, patronizing acts such as Pride Month, #bringbackourgirls and #metoo.
The irony in you saying Pride Month is useless when trans and gay people are the subject of countless brutal legislation trying to erase their existence is astounding.
From the 12 Days of to Three Kings Day and Lent is just one whole mere day since...?

See, even that assumes that Christmas is just the twelve days plus advent month. The Walgreens on my corner start decorating in September, and they only take them down in February because corporate requires them to put up Valentine's shit.
haha, I had forgotten, having worked stock in a clothing stores years ago. It was the day after Thanksgiving that we redid the window displays for Christmas.
Then in later years saw stores start earlier and earlier. By 2019 or 18 the RiteAid here started putting out the Halloween candy in JULY! No big display or ads, but the shelves, stocked.
