I blame the leftists for this person's attempted suicide. When they don't have anything to fight against they invent stuff. Stuff like anti-transgendered laws. What a load of BS is that. If the left hadn't lied to this person he most likely never would have attempted suicide.

"Trans" - a prefix meaning to move physically or to change one's outlook on something.
"phoba" - a suffix meaning an irrational and debilitating fear of something.

So do I have an irrational and debilitating fear of moving? Nope. I hate packing and unpacking but I don't fear it. Does the idea of changing my mind on something cause debilitating fear? Nope. I've done that a bunch of times.

I'm still a bit confused how you came up with the idea that I assumed that story is false. Is it? I have no idea. What I think is false is that any laws exist that try to control or limit transgendered people in anyway, especially in this day. And if there are any such laws (which I seriously doubt there are) then are they enforced? How would the be enforced? Are the police going to crash through your door and take all of your clothes that were made for the opposite gender away from you?

There is a very real and very serious problem in the transgendered community. They have a unusually high suicide rate. Not because of any farcical laws. Not because of Republicans. But because gender dysphoria is a mental illness. Something deep inside a person with any kind of dysphoria causes them to want to be someone other than themselves. They hate themselves and seek relief in being someone they are not. But they cannot ever truly escape who they are and that is in my very unprofessional opinion why the suicide rate is so high.

So rather than playing into their delusion, shouldn't we be sending them for treatment for mental illness. Somewhere they can get all of the help that they can so they can hopefully cope with their illness. That way we can prevent some, maybe most, suicides. They can dress however they want, I really don't care. It does not affect my life. At least with psychiatric help we might prevent some of those suicides.

But that isn't the path the left want to take. They must want them to kill themselves. I mean why not. Everything the left does just causes more and more death and suffering.

Parents are to blame in this case if you ask me. Pretending to be a girl/woman is one thing, taking hormone blockers and/or chopping your bits off is a permanent choice and encouraging your own children to partake is just something that most parents aren't going to do. When you tell your kids that they can be what they want, you don't expect them to say I want to remove my junk and be a woman. You may not be able to help your kids change their minds but you have to be caring enough to tell them all the cons, show them the stats of suicide rates, the depression that can occur, the stigma and then hope that they come to their senses eventually. But you don't just allow your kids to make these decisions as children. That's just neglectful abuse.

He was only on HRT. The entire point of it is to allow him time to decide whether or not he will want to transition later and do top/bottom surgery. The suicide ideation and attempt rates are linked to transphobia, being unable to access gender-affirming care and not having an accepting environment where preferred name and pronouns are used at home, work and/or school. Gender-affirming care is associated with reduced suicide risk, and a recent survey showed that these anti-trans laws being passed negatively affect the mental health of the LGBTQ community as a whole. He literally made an attempt in response to Abbott’s brutal push for investigating parents of trans kids.

I seriously don’t understand why conservatives pour their thoughts out onto people when they know absolutely nothing about an issue.
