He came out today saying he's not running for any office, however it wouldn't surprise me if he were to use the massacre in his home town of Uvalde as a stepping stone into politics. Since his name has already been tossed around among elite circles, it can't be dismissed as beyond the realm of possibility. And he is a modern Hollywooder, something we know the huge voting base in California adores.
