Right, no kinky business except for the judge's wife being the lawyer for FBI Agent Page who was revealed publicly to hate Trump's guts with a passion and the judge admitting he worked with Sussman in the 1990s. Judges are not to know the the defendant or the witnesses directly or indirectly. Plenty of lawyers have said the judge in question should have recused himself without waiting for the prosecutor or defense asking for it.
