I have no problem with ppl of different races being represented, it's just that if it's too much about diversity then I'm forced to think of politics while enjoying watching the screen and I freaking hate politics getting into my leisure time

I take issue with it when it's clearly pandering or in fiction where it doesn't make sense, like putting black & brown actors in time periods/geographic locations where they obviously wouldn't have been.

yeah ikr, like making queen Anne black? 1) that isn't historically accurate and 2) if I were going for black pride I certainly wouldn't try to claim her... She and king Henry VIII had MAJOR problems
