As for weapons of warfare. Anything can be a f**king weapon of warfare. It isn't rocket science to make a Molotov cocktail and perform terrorism. It isn't rocket science to get in a vehicle and go GTA in a crowd of people. Guns aren't the problem. It is the mentally incapacitated people that find a way to perform violence. Guns on the other hand is the alternative to allow civilians to protect themselves from the deranged out there. If you care so much for children and to avoid public shootings, perhaps you should be for guns and for teachers to be armed at schools or to have armed security.
Criminals aren't going to stop at the lack of guns, it is just going to cause more problems for the people that they harm. Also you should be thankful civilians should be allowed to have guns. You know who isn't allowed to have guns in countries? How about North Korea? Only military personal and other authorities are allowed to have guns.
