I'm not making this up. This is not history revisionism. This is an actual historical fact. The Progressives were pretty open about it. They also praised Stalin and Mussolini. They held rallies for these people and one of them was even at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Also I hate to break it to you but American conservatives were not then and are not now Nazis. Nazis were socialist. Nazi is an acronym of for (in English) the National Socialist German Workers Party. And who is the left trying their hardest to be like? Let me give you a clue, Bernie Sanders calls himself a what? A "Democratic Socialist". You know who else call himself a "Democratic Socialist"? No, not Hitler. It was Vladimir Lenin, the first president of the United Soviet Socialist of Russia (or USSR).

It does not matter what adjective you put in front of the word "socialist" it is all the same. Mussolini created his own version of socialism that he called "fascism". Joseph Stalin called himself an "International Socialist" while Hitler was a "National Socialist".

I think before you call conservatives "Nazis", you might want to look in the mirror first. This is your wake up call.

We're the ones protecting the Constitution and individual liberty. Nazis hate both the US Constitution and individual liberty and conservatives hate Nazis. We're not burning books, you side is the ones who are putting limits on free speech.
