Just watched it last night and I'm shocked that people actually take that seriously. The radical religious cult in that show may be based around Christianity but it's not even close to the goals of the gop. It is a feminists wet dream to be oppressed that hard so I guess that's why it's so popular. But anyone who thinks handmaid's tale is what Americans want is mentally damaged.

Women are capable of avoiding pregnancy in many ways, if raped, plan B is literally a thing. They got plan B in Handmaid's tale???

Publicly, most conservatives want to ban sex outside of marriage. Personally, they only want to ban OTHER people from having sex outside of marriage.

Handmaid's Tale is from the POV of a woman that has been convinced they are basically nothing more than brood mares for men.
