Liberal vegans see eggs as unhatched baby chickens, which is what I was saying… I think

The problem with whataboutism is that it doesn't actually prove your argument either.

I'm just as much against vegetarians limiting what an individual eats because people are far too different to reduce us to a single diet; as I am against pro-lifers doing away with several medical procedures that could be classified as abortion that could and should remain up to the individual woman and their doctor.

When we regulate what goes into or out of people's bodies then we're crossing a line when we make it state or federal law with the intent that this be the status quo for years to come.

Same with masks and vaccines; these were a temporary measure. Many of the mandates are lifting. There is no reason to now outlaw abortion when it has remained a legal procedure for almost fifty years.

The key takeaway is that not only was the government not forcing you to get an abortion; it remained an option on the individual level. By giving that power to the government; you enslave women's bodies. And when these bodies do not produce healthy living babies; they become criminally suspect in many of the proposed abortion laws. Regardless of what pregnancy complications may have made the woman miscarry naturally.

It pushes undue stress and burden on the mother.

That is NOT FREEDOM.

Nah, I eat meat. Hence why I said:

Nothing wrong with that, I am pro-life myself but I’m not gonna go out of my way to deny abortion for women who don’t want to have children either. It doesn’t really affect me in the slightest anyway, and the unborn children that never got a shot at living are probably better off not being born to mothers that wouldn’t have loved them anyway

Still, these Republicans wanting to ban abortion to rape victims are going to far. Some even believe that if the woman’s health is in jeopardy, and any method that could save her life at the cost of the child would be considered an illegal abortion. Even if it’s perfectly safe for the mother; such as treatments for cancer.

It makes no sense logically especially if the woman is unable to survive the entire term of the pregnancy without those treatments. Meaning we’re just sentencing pregnant women and their unborn to their death.

That is just complete idiocy, and one of the very reasons why it should remain at the individual level rather than up to the state or federal government.

Further, letting a woman who has already suffered such trauma from rape be forced to suffer the additional trauma of an unwanted pregnancy without a choice in the matter just to preserve the life of the unborn is where I also draw the line.

I had hoped that these extremist views were some kind of salesman tactic. Start low, work our way up to a compromise to prevent elective abortions.

But no… it’s just rightwing lunacy.

I scarcely recognize the Republican Party. If my moderate choice this primary doesn’t get in, I guess I’ll resign from being a registered Republican.

As I see it, it is a waste of time.

Actually cows do eat meat in rare circumstances, that is:

Don’t watch if you have a weak stomach. Friendly warning.

Let me know when a cow eats people…

I’m sure I’ll find a video of it to show you…. Matter of fact, if I did find it then the man eating cow is 100 percent likely put down instead of eaten because it was probably sick so it’s meat would’ve been no good for consumption anyway. :(

I already did find it. They’re studying it. For science. But it probably will likely be put down eventually, yeah.

Happened very recently. Like a year ago. And it was widely thought to be a hoax until human remains were recovered from the droppings.

Just an example of the reason statistics never say 100% on anything. There is always the 0.000001% possibility more or less.

I'm completely due abolishing abortion, but I also think there needs to be an alternative like the pregnancy pod they almost have perfected (it's been tested on animals).

Elective transplanting of fetuses before the 22nd week is banned.

By Republicans.

And rightfully so as no results have produced viable living outcomes.

Yes, except they have done it with animals now, and when it is done in other countries, the US will relax is laws.

First, most animals that are smaller have a much lower gestation rate than humans.

Second, just because we do something with animals doesn't mean it'll eventually take the next step with humans. Especially in the United States.

See; cloning and cannibalism.

It'll become legal when it's viable and we try things on animals before we do human testing

Or we can just keep abortions legal and keep the restrictions on elective abortions.

And not rely on science fiction.

Like I said its science fact now. You gotta do your research.
0 ups, 2y
First, just no. I’m talking about human embryo transplants which even if it were made legal, would be in extreme circumstances. And two, would be just as legal as abortion is now.

There is severe complications with removing a baby before the 32nd week, and fetuses before the 22nd week have a zero percent, not 0.00001%, but 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000…% chance outside of the womb. So it would effectively be abortion if the fetus was willfully removed even with the intent to transplant it.

No Republican in their right mind would sign off on that operation being done to a human woman.

It is science fiction because it will never be done to humans.

Both for moral reasons, legal reasons, and scientific impossibility.
