Sorry, I realized after the fact that the title might be confusing. I meant that it's real that Google won't let you delete the "holiday". I still don't consider "pride month" to be a real holiday.

So why do I need to keep it on my calendar?

Ah, yes. Pride Month. Where people pressure you all month to praise an identity even if you don’t support them or even LIKE them. I sort of believe that these ‘special’ months are basically a planning calendar for the left’s talking points throughout the year.

Although this year the actual holiday is on Monday, June 20th which I find hilarious. It's called "Juneteenth" because nobody was really sure when it happened, just that it was sometime between the 13th and the 19th. The holiday, according to the federal government, is supposed to be on the 19th every year. This year the 19th is on a Sunday so they push it up to Monday the 20th. If they really wanted to keep the spirit of the holiday they should have made Friday the 17th the day off - or better yet the 13th through the 17th.

But hey, I never would have taken the idea that the moon landing was faked, but when the sites claiming such started disappearing from their pages, I started looking more closely
