I agree. It is not my decision alone to make. The SCOTUS ruled they DO NOT have the authority to allow, force or stop abortions. It was a previous version of the SCOTUS that decided they did have that authority. They were wrong. The constitution of the U.S. guarentees that authority to the citizens of each state in the U.S. So, busy yourselves convincining your neighbors to think and agree with your way and vote for those who agree with you.

Maybe our basic human rights to self determination SHOULDN'T be voted on by our neighbors.

Lyoll, I chastise you for accusing me of bigotry. You don't know me or my background. I do not now, nor have I ever believed only white men are deserving of unalienable rights.

Our country is a society of those consenting to be governed by a constitution and to live by rule of law rather than rule by man. Included are laws governing the ending of a life or potential life through abortion. States laws and constitutions can be amended and written within each state to reflect the citizens beliefs in that state. Societal consensus among those willing and able to participate is not perfect, but it's as fair a system as exists.

If you believe a different system is better, I encourage you to seek it out.
