During the four years of the Trump administration, that program certified 2,095 petitions covering 202,151 workers who lost jobs that moved overseas. That’s less than the 2,170 petitions certified during the last four years of the Obama administration, which covered 209,735 workers.

Then there was NAFTA during "Don't twist my arm, I'll sign it" Clinton ramrodded by le grande GOP and....

No, because that's not one party, and both D and R do their best from blocking any they fear might take votes away from them on particular state ballots, namely the Green and Libertarian parties, respectively.
Also many independents are simply unregistered, and the majority still vote for either of the two major parties.
