The first sentence reads, "US President Donald Trump has defended Russia over claims of interference in the 2016 presidential election." THAT is actually is what the article is about. The headline is way off base.

So Putin says that they had no involvement in the 2016 election and Trump believes it.

Trump was wrong. Russia did try to influence the election. The US is such a big part of the world's economy EVERY NATION tries to influence our elections. They want the candidate who they think will benefit their country the best. Some of those nations use dirty tactics and create fake votes. Others just try to spread propaganda in our country.

It has been evident for decades that not only have nations tried to influence our elections, the Democrat party has (recognizing their declining numbers) have been cheating. It became more apparent in 2012 when Obama first got Dominion and the other electronic voting machines brought to America. These machines are programmed to deliver a pre decided vote count. They are fully programmable and votes can be changed by precinct workers without any kind of a paper trail. They are connected to the internet and can be remotely operated.

It was the 2012 I started reading about Republicans watching as they voted for Mitt Romney and they would see the screen change to Barack Obama. Then again in 2016 when Donald Trump votes magically changed to Hillary Clinton votes right in front of the voters eyes. And then there's the 2020 election where it was conclusively shown that the election was a fraud but the left vehemently holds on to their denials.

BTW in 2016 Putin was for Hillary. More than anything he wanted to disrupt our economy and bring us down. Hillary was the greatest chance of that happening. I did not vote for Trump in that election, I voted for the Constitution Party candidate.
