I call it an unhealthy TDS over-obsession.

And that's probably about as mild of a description that can be made, and still rise to the level of being accurate. The fully accurate truth might get me sent to imgflip jail for an 11th time.

Agree. Democracy is overrated.

Even assuming the masses of voters are not misinformed idiots, and assuming the voting isn't rigged, and assuming choice even matters and isn't actually controlled by a shadowy elite..

It still boils down to 51% of the people trampling 49% of the others' rights.
