There is no intention of curing cancer. There is only the intention of creating drugs to extend the life of cancer patients, and hence, the need to buy more drugs.
Just look up 'supressed' cancer cures. I know one of them was a drug for something else, but if you took it, your cancer would go away. They wouldn't allow cancer patients to get it for cancer though.

You certainly aren't, as a quick glance at cancer deaths and coronavirus deaths in the USA will show.
