Had to buy some parts today. Identical ones I bought last year are 1/3 today's price. Groceries cost me more than double.

No stickers, just keep a budget, know what I was spending pre-Biden and what I spend now. You know about the high inflation marketing tricks right? Not picking on Obama, but inflation accelerated during his term. The most notable trick was that you stopped buying 5 lb bags of sugar, but yoy get a 4 lb bag for the same price. 16 oz box of cereal became 11 and a half ounces. Steaks are sliced thinner and the beat goes on. Same thing happened in inflation of the 60s and 70s. You pay the same for less. Toilet paper rolls are narrower. All kinds of quiet manipulation.
Dirtiest secret is if inflation numbers were track honesty, Social Security would have been bankrupt decades ago due to cost of living allowance (COLA). Instead, people on fixed income get really screwed over.
Politicians suck.
