True, they keep claiming Russia is on the ropes but want to send weapons and now troops to help. I will care about Ukraine when the US border is secure and the invasion on our borders is crushed.

I agree. Also what none of these suddenly ardent leftist warhawks grasp is that Russia is a military superpower while the Ukraine is very definitely not. If Putin is willing to do whatever it takes then the Ukraine is on borrowed time no matter what. It all boils down to just how determine Putin is to win; and nothing else.
