Here's the thing about a lot fantasy worlds-they're fun to watch, but that doesn't mean they'd be fun to live in. A lot of people think living in a post apocalyptic MAD MAX scenario would be fun, but it's like
"Dude, you'd be part of the mountain of skulls. You're not as bad ass as you think you are. Even if you were, getting there would NOT be a happy experience."
The conflicts would still suck. Sure, once you went through it you'd be a better person-some character building adventure in the world of Narnia? It's an amazing fantasy world and you meet the Lion Jesus and his ironically pagan army of greek and druidic creatures, but you still have to go to war. People only go to Narnia during times of conflict.
Also, not toilets. Or tv. Or facebook.
Quite frankly the best scenario you would want to live in would be, and this sounds terrible, one of the more light hearted Hentai or ecchi rom com storylines. It's an unrealistic depiction of polyamory where the consequences (psychological, mostly) of having multiple mates-in the same house-is downplayed and it's all healthy and fun in this nice little fantasy. Everything is solved with some "quality time" with your harem, like it's duct tape (or in the ecchi, some 3 stooges antics).
As nice as it would be to live with 6 wives who love you and almost never fight past a petty spat or dispute, history has shown the only way to maintain harmony in the real world is usually through a cult like setting-be it examples of polyamory with Mormons or Muslims (no offense to either). The Harem ecchi or Hentai doesn't promote that (necessarily) and pretends like it's no longer an issue and this set up goes down without a hitch.
