Fun fact- the recent bill they tried to push was aimed at banning gay marriage. It was detailed so heavily towards lgbtq bigotry that they didn’t pay attention to the age of consent between a man and a woman. And it led to backlash. It was amended to 18, but only after it became a threat to political power.
The bill was designed to allow for a certain type of marriage contract ONLY available to heterosexual couples. That treats same-sex couples unfairly so it's an unconstitutional law
I believe you are the one mistake. Use authenticated authoritative sources. Absent parent consent and/ court adjudication 18 is the minimum age. Sorry, just saying it is true does not make it true.
I do not disagree with your premise. However, on marriage, the law still sets a limit on minimum age even with parental consent. Absent mitigating circumstance, I'll take parental consent over government mandates any day.
