It's a common tactic for people like him to make any issue about "protecting children", so if anybody disagrees with him or even points out that what he's discussing has nothing to do with protecting children, he will simply accuse them of putting children in danger

10 years old is around fifth grade. I'm sure many kids develop crushes on other kids well before fifth grade, so they have some concept of attraction

TEN? That's it?

I had to wait till Health Ed class in HIGH SCHOOL for some superficial discussion in one or two classes and then it was back to regular (non sexual) health stuff! Yeah, I'm old enough to remember when even this Florida bs was unspeakable.
Hate to see what they teach in HS, but that would explain a lot, being Florida n all.

Menstruation and associated hygiene maybe for girls then just in case they reach it young (the rare few), but the rest, no way.

Ugh, glad I never started a family.

That’s pure conjecture on your part. It’s meaningless drivel.

I want you to know I hold you in extremely low regard.

It's not conjecture when I've seen it happen myself. I've seen numerous conservatives portray the Florida bill as protecting children from grooming, when it has nothing to do with that.

"I want you to know I hold you in extremely low regard"

The feeling is mutual

Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill (HB) 1557, https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2022/1557/BillText/er/PDF, Parental Rights in Education, which reinforces parents’ fundamental rights to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children. The bill prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through 3rd grade and prohibits instruction that is not age appropriate for students and requires school districts to adopt procedures for notifying parents if there is a change in services from the school regarding a child’s mental, emotional or physical health or well-being. The bill builds on the Parents’ Bill of Rights, which was signed into law in Florida last year, and is part of Governor DeSantis’ Year of the Parent focus on protecting parental rights in education.

“Parents’ rights have been increasingly under assault around the nation, but in Florida we stand up for the rights of parents and the fundamental role they play in the education of their children,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Parents have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school, and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old.”

I honestly hope the left keeps up their opposition to protecting parental rights, because it will be passed anyways, and it’s a losing election issue for the Democrats.

Don’t mess with people kids.

Well, the left really does love sexualizing children... Where are all the indictments of people Maxwell trafficked kids to? Oh... that's right... it's a democrat-run justice system... NEVER MIND...

When things don't go their way under a Democrat president, they blame Democrats. When things don't go their way under a Republican president, they blame a shadowy "deep state".
1 up, 3y
So blame Trump when it was a democrat run justice system that only convicted Maxwell... Got it
