So in your mind, it's totally legit to register to vote in a state you don't actually live and provide an address therein that has never been your home. That's what the Meadows did in North Carolina, even though they lived in Virginia.

Their desperation went up another level after the NY DA dropped their BS investigation of Trump's businesses...

It's not a BS investigation when the prosecuters involved stated there were multiple provable crimes committed. Repeatedly inflating and deflating property values by 3,000% to either secure loans or, alternatively, reduce taxes can never be viewed as a mere mistake. It's a deliberate attempt to deceptively manipulate material facts for self serving reasons.

Problem is, they have to prove he intended to lie when he lied as opposed to just being a stupid senile patholigically lying braggart who can't help himself when he lies because that's what he does. A nun has a greater chance of going to Rikers for not tipping a cab driver enough after he ripped her off with the fare than Trump has of even stepping into a court just to testify in his own case. Worse comes to worse, one of his hired help will get sent off instead.

True. You're overlooking, however, the double edged sword that's currently in play here. Trump will go down. The only question at this point is what legal mechanism's going to deliver that final blow.

I don't wanna harsh anyone's mood on that, but just look at the two sham impeachments. Aww, boo hoo, Trump & Co didn't want to show? What shall we do? Emoluments Clause? Nepotism? Practically performing felatio on Putin on live tv?

Look at Congress now, they hesitated moving ow bcause they don't want to set a precedent? Oh, really, in case they try to one day stage a coup too?

The glacial pace they're all moving on whatever they're going to do someday hopefully before 2024 is.... curious.

The impeachments weren't a sham; the first one was for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress due to Trump illegally witholding military aid to Ukraine without approval of Congress unless and/or until Zelensky announced an investigation into the Bidens. The second one was for Trump inciting the insurrection.

The only sham that occurred in both was sychophantic Republican Senators and Reps pretending they actually possessed any Constitutional ethics, when all they were really doing was protecting their own self serving political careers by acquiting him.

So Pelosi not wanting to have it, then rushing it when she finally relented, then doing nothing about the subpoenas Trump and the rest of the no-shows ignored, then delaying the submitting the papers to the Senate to bust their onions was not a sham? Just like she didn't want a commission to investigate Jan 6th because, in her words, "we don't want to set a precedent?" Emoluments Clause, Russian Collusion, Barr acting as Trump's personal attorney, all allowed to slip by without repercussion?

NEWS FLASH: Pelosi & Co eat at the same table as their GOP colleagues. They got richer off Trump too. They like him. They want him back in 2024.

You were in denial about the case in NY also even though you could read it in their words. Let's stop wasting my time on this sent-to-prison-by-wishful-thinking nonsense, shall we? It begins to bore me a lot.

Go down for what? They haven't even moved to charge him yet.

Did you see that article? Case is in limbo because they have no proof that when Trump lied about his finances, he INTENDED to lie. That he's a habitual liar would simply be enough to acquit him. He wasn't lying about how he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and getting away with it.

They have proof and plenty of it, even the prosecutors who quit stated such in their resignation letters. I'm not going to pretend to know what's going on in Bragg's head or what's occuring behind the scenes. What I do know, however, based on my own two decades plus legal career (some of which spent in an AG's office), all prosecutions take much longer than what the public consider to be ideal and secondly, the latter are always going to be the last ones to know about the true realities of any given case.

Give me break, now you're getting beyond silly and starting to clock past knee deep into cringe.

I provided you an article that isn't some Right Wing taint job. If that don't suit ya, then. look. it. up.

We done? Yeah, we're done.

I know what's being printed in the media as too what's being stated in news outlets. I can also tell you that you shouldn't believe everything you see or read from any source.

Over twenty years ago, I was on a high profile case wherein media outlets with a particular political bias were professing X had occurred in Court that day all the while Y had actually occurred. The entity they were trying to provide public spin for were losing in Court and did in fact lose their case, which they appealed and lost also, so attempted to take to the Supreme Court, wherein they also lost.

What's occuring today is no different from that but only those with a legal background will ever fully grasp what happening.

As opposed to the Republican 'justus system' that repeatedly tried and failed to pull off a coup to benefit Trump - knowing he legitimately lost the 2020 election - and are now being held to account for such?

we all know the election was stolen... more than ample evidence of that fact...
0 ups, 3y
No, you merely just want to continue to believe in the lies that it stolen. Every piece of so called "evidence" that Trump and his allies have presented to date have already been challenged in court and been debunked. Not to mention the fact that there are multiple internal memos from various individuals within Trump's own admininstration stating they found no evidence of mass voter that would have changed the outcome of the election and any claims regarding such total BS.

That's not evidence, it's opinion derived from a Rasmussen Reports survey - a pro Conservative / pro Trump partisan organization - polling a mere 1,000 people.

There's plenty of evidence, all you need to do is hope the midterms aren't a disaster for the left. Also, election fraud is the least of worries when Biden's son has so much confirmed dirt on the whole house of cards. It going to be interesting. Get your popcorn.
0 ups, 3y
There is zero evidence. 64 different court cases already proved that (many of which Republican judges ruled on; some Trump appointed himself), as too Trump's own AG - Bill Barr - who had the DOJ look into mass voter fraud claims and told him they were total BS, as well as Trump appointee - Chris Krebs - for Director of CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency) for Homeland Security who stated this was the most secure election in US history, and every Republican state governor, secretary of state, etc, etc, etc. who too also refuted those claims. Unsurprisingly, Trump declares all of them RINOS because they refused to support his lie.

Not all of it. Trump is making speeches instead of being in jail and just won his lawsuit against Stormy. There is clearly enough evidence for Trump to use against Hillary in that lawsuit to.

and in other news , a New York District Attorney shut down the New York AG's investigation into Trump's financials , so they're not all evil

What makes you think it's shut down? How do you know that's not merely a ploy by the AG to make certain people feel more relaxed and begin to get sloppy in their communcations, all the while the DOJ's already received court approval to tap into everyone of their calls, text messages, etc. to gain future evidence?

The District Attorney's all over the state want to have nothing to do with it

BS... NC's AG and the State's Bureau of Investigations have already opened up a criminal investigation into the matter. That information's been widely reported on multiple state and national news outlets as too in dozens of print media publications.
0 ups, 3y
Really? How do you explain all the Republican judges in multiple states - including those Trump appointed himself - all ruling against the bogus claims made in the Trump/GOP post election lawsuits for failing to provide any actual evidence.

One judge stated the claim being made was akin to the stitching together of Frankenstein's monster. Another declared that the case being promoted was entirely without merit and intended solely for the purposes of manipulating public opinion but in a court of law, they must actually produce solid evidence to support their claim, which they failed to do.

Another proclaimed the entire case presented was nothing but hyperbole and speculation, completely devoid of any actual provable evidence albeit supported by those of dubious characters, willing to submit doctored government records, lie about their credentials in affidavits, etc, etc, etc because they refused to accept their favored candidate had legimately lost.
