The problem is that the "education" taking place isn't limited to such things.

The exposure of said educators attempting to convince children that they are trans and to hide it from parents is why there is so much pushback against it.

I don’t think accepting a child’s gender identity is the same as converting them to transition. I haven’t seen any examples of conversion or brainwashing happening in public schools. Seems like another made up issue by conservatives

Sorry for not being clear enough. I'm okay with teaching kids about the LGBTQ+ and know it doesn't make kids LGBTQ+, but wanted to clarify that, even if we could, the LGBTQ+ community does not condone of making kids LGBTQ+ because we're soooooooo tired of that "argument" for why we shouldn't teach kids about the LGBTQ+.
