These gas prices were the expressed wishes of democrats before the 2020 election. Why are they trying to bring them down?

They WANT sky-high Eurotrash-style gas taxes to force us into little cars and public transportation and fund their socialist pipe dreams. But they can't be honest about it.

Opposite in Europe, actually.
Taxpayer paid SUBSIDIES lower gas prices in the USA by HALF or MORE.

I've heard gas is quite a bit more expensive in Europe, but then again the countries (except for Russia of course) are much smaller than the US, so they probably don't drive long distances as much as we do.

Earlier today in Arizona (or NM?) I saw a Minnesota license plate, and it's not at all uncommon to see New York plates in Florida, etc

Gas sells for half what it's worth in the US. Probably sells for less that it costs to produce for all I know.
Same with food. It's cheaper to feed cows grain then give them anitbiotics to combat the ulcers they get from said grain irritating their stomachs. It's cheaper to grow sugar cane in Florida with supplemental irrigation and a ton of fertilizer to accelerate growth during the shortened season for that tropical plant than it is to simply stick the canes in the ground in Puerto Rico and wait till harvest time. Let that sink in.
