Hardly. Trump had no intention of ever preventing the funding / military aid from going to Ukraine. He, unlike Biden and president Obama before him, clearly knew that a weak Ukraine was only inviting trouble from Russia.

President Obama, in particular, was very weak in this area. He didn't want to give Ukraine lethal weapons, but blankets instead. I bet the Ukrainians are glad to have a blanket to wrap themselves in, while Russia pounds their country out of existence.

I don't know if you are being deliberately misleading or are under/misinformed... but it looks like we're quoting Trump so it's probably both... While Obama did keep aid at non-lethals, the admin did provide defensive equipment, medical aid, and training. Trump did up the aid to include lethals in addition to those same "blankets." Now Biden has continued that. Heck, 25% of all Ukraine Aid since 2014 was in 2021 alone.
