Dude… oil prices have done nothing but rise as a result of all this tension, which suits Russia just fine and hurts every net oil importer. One of the perverse incentives that keeps Russia locked in a cycle of aggression. And if Russia were to take whatever oil Ukraine has then only Russia would benefit from that.
