What does that have to do with anything? Sending fake electors and declaring he won when he lost by millions, refusing to accept defeat and sending our country into turmoil just because he thinks more of himself than anyone else. That's not a president. That's a dictator and America does not now, not will it ever have a dictator.

Our elections are fine. Trump would destroy three hundred million lives before he'd admit the truth.

All of that is beside the point. Point is these two candidates have us divided. That's NOT what's best for the country so they both need to go.

And Hillary bought some bogus information that triggered Trump's team being spied on and the Mueller investigation that impeded Trump's fair victory. But you don't care about that.

Because you hate Trump.

So if all the rules go out the window because Trump won and you're okay with it, you can't really complain but you're no better than the rest.

You're very selective in the information you deem relevant

Everyone says they don't watch the "news". I've never watched it. I always thought people that did were the kind of people that like to see bad things happen to other people. News, even before the internet, was nothing but the worst of the worst of us. Now? Now it's actors telling you how to think, what to think and people don't seem to notice. Commercials are just as bad. I'd tell you that I don't watch regular tv and I only watch movies but you wouldn't believe me. It's true. I don't have patience when it comes to a box telling my life isn't complete and I'm not a whole woman unless I buy and use their products. Pisses me off actually.

My point's been made. None of us are going to change our views. Arguing and threatening to dismantle a country of three hundred million is ridiculous. The only thing left is compromise. It's always worked before. Neither side gets to rule. Republicans can't just say we don't like the winner so we're going to destroy the country. Suck it up. Dems did when Trump was elected. They bitched, pissed and moaned for four years. Republicans? Right now they'd rather destroy the entire country rather than admit defeat.

I don't get any information from anyone other than those admitting to what they did. Horse's mouth kind of thing. "News" isn't someone else's opinion of what the facts are. When multiple people tell the world they tried to steal the election and then explain every detail of their plan...I tend to believe them.

Well you have to collect your facts from somewhere. I don't think you're driving around the country asking people questions directly. Let me guess....facebook?

LoL. No. I don't Facebook or Twitter or whatever the latest fad website is. Like I said, I watch videos of the people in question talking themselves. If they didn't say it, I didn't trust anyone else that said they did but I do believe them when they say it themselves. Like in speeches, court transcripts, interviews or videos they've made themselves. No "news" clips spliced to bits either.

I was just joking about FB. I read and listen to a wide variety of new sources. Some legacy media, some alternative, never Twitter or FB or any "social media". I watch for patterns and draw my conclusions from the patterns. There are some sources which I think are more objective than others.

I agree with you the media is invested in telling me what they want me to think. I do read court transcripts but I'm selective about which cases I follow that closely.

You have to be careful about news clips. They can be deceptively edited.

Right now, "news" is what's dividing us. I honestly think if everyone had the facts, Trump and an awful lot of Republicans in Congress would be in prison. I don't think Republicans would want Trump if they were being told the truth.

I always wanted someone to shake up established DC but I never wanted someone to destroy everything. Regardless of whether he's good or not...the country is fighting each other. That, in and of itself, is why neither Trump or Biden should run again.

We need fresh blood that's at least willing to pretend BOTH halves of the country matter. Nobody gets everything they want but nobody should get everything they think they want.

Dems give away money like it's candy. Repubs reign it in. It works together. It does not work if one side wants to rule the world.
