Exactly. Not only would you be able to thdeated mass destruction with moves like Self-destruct, Explosion, Earthquake, Fissure, Sheer Cold, Muddy Water, Surf, Draco Meteor, Etc, but you could get skilled enough to defeat the gym leaders and elite four of you region fairly easily (since a child can do it with relative ease,) and then keep an elite team (say, 60 trainers) of well-trained grunts and you could start catching legendaries, and rule the world in no time.

you see THAT is what evil team leaders are missing common sense but if they just stepped back and thought then they can follow your plan
