I think that's how it works in other states with a big city or two, relative to the population of the rest of the state. I think Washington and Oregon fall into that category. Not being from either place, I don't know for sure, but I had a buddy who lived in WA and he complained that the libs in Seattle controlled everything, in spite of the rest of the state being fairly intelligent and objective. Even here in Taxifornia, it's the big cities that are mostly blue, and control what happens in Excremento. In the rural areas, there's much more of a balance between red and blue.

NY has been blue in the elections this entire century so far, infact, the last time it voted Republican was 1984

Well, yes, that's just my opinion because the point seems painfully clear, which is that the media constantly told people (and still does) how bad Trump was/is, and lied about what he said, and what his policies were. And the people, being the unthinking, non-curious, lemmings that they are, trusted them without checking into it themselves. So to boil it down, media says Trump bad, people believe Trump bad.

As far as some people pointing out the media's lies and agenda driven, anti-Trump lack of objectivity, many have been saying that since he announced his candidacy. You see it all the time here in the politics stream, and anywhere else where a free exchange of ideas is actually tolerated.

Incorrect, the media elevated and provided Trump a platform - even a tv show (on his grand nemesis, NBC, no less) - for decades. Because he paid them to. Yes, it CAN be fake at times, he wasn't lying because he bought airtime to promote himself and made it look like it was real.
