some people are on here to have conversations with another person, and i think this is one of those people. however at the same time i think s/he's bothered by the questions of where matter came from originally, and how it became DNA. both are really important questions to which we have no answer. so i think they're trolling, but not purely trolling.

Don't know if you got there but matter can indeed be destroyed and it becomes energy. An equal amount of energy can also be converted into matter. The first law of thermodynamics is that energy is constant in a closed system. When energy and matter are interchangeable it means mass + energy must remain unchanged in the Universe.
