It’s not an insult though, I understand that it doesn’t exactly warrant a ban but it isn’t an insult and if you use it that way, it’s sort of homophobic. Yeah yeah, call me a snowflake, but it is sort of low level harassment of people that are gay.
Some people lament that you can't say "f@g" in movies like they did in the 80s.
Let this "snowflake" remind you that adolescents who are LGBTQ are far more at risk to attempt suicide. https://www.thetrevorproject.org/research-briefs/estimate-of-how-often-lgbtq-youth-attempt-suicide-in-the-u-s/
Do you think cultural acceptance has something to do with that? Or would you rather bemoan how the "over-sensitive" are stifling your free will to hurl insults which cause explicit damage?
People are offended on the internet? They must be new to the internet. Man, times have change since the windows 95 days.

As long as it's not directed at an individual or a specific group, explore the aspects of all phobias and you will come to ONE conclusion,...
Fear makes people hate those not like them.

It takes a real snowflake to whine about not being able to insult Gay people...
HomoCurious much?
All the snowflake on ImgFlip are in the "politics" stream anyway...
trolling for attention
(here comes "just like you?" comment from the least imaginative Trolltard in the thread..)
you aren't understanding what i am saying, a person got comment banned by a site mod because they called a person gay

no... I understood bud... maybe stop defining people as "gay' just because you don't appreciate their comments or point of view...!? If you're not doing it to insult, but to define sexuality then the site mod should be able to tell the difference but if you are being banned for simply typing the word 'gay' then I would agree there's a problem but this was never clarified was it?
Do you use the word "GAY" as a term of aggression or acceptance?
this is the thing that got him comment banned. and it wasn't me that got banned

yeah... that's called an "aggressive' comment and they are restricted from most sites.
WE have to learn to get past that type of description for something we find "weak" or "not worthy" and then maybe... we'll start moving forward as humans again.
Good luck bud.. I haver faith in you.
I agree that these sites that 'protect' their guests also offer little or no leniency for a member who may break a rule or say something rude/insulting to other members. A second chance shows that they are willing to let us learn and change our responses.
After 58yrs, I've learned to be more polite and let the other be a dick... they usually fade away into oblivion and I go about my day. (Note: it's super easy to create a new profile too ;)
Take care Poke, and be good bud. :D
So its acceptable and funny to say when its on a movie or tv show, but when a regular non celebrity person says it its not? Got it 👌

Stupid people make stupid references...
It is not acceptable to insult someone in public so why do it online?
Because you're a coward who hides in your bedroom, spitting ugly hateful insecure thoughts at strangers you will never meet face to face.
Prove me right by making another comment. (you can't help yourself from being a douche)
To be a better person...
sometimes means saying nothing at all.
Just let them say the most ignorant thing in the thread... and let it sit there, like the shit it is. :)
SITE MODS YOU CAN DISSAPROVE THIS BUT PLEASE STOP BANNING PEOPLE FOR SAYING INSULTS LIKE GAY AND CALLING IT HARASSMENT; ALL YOU ARE PROVING IS THAT YOU ARE SNOWFLAKES
