They never condemned anything. They supported it 100%.
Since then they have tried to change the narrative, told us it wasn't violent, tried to blame Antifa, and claimed that it was Pelosi's fault.
The Republicans embraced Trump's Big Lie and sat by while he fomented an insurrection designed to overthrow the government of the United States.
No peace in America until there is justice for January 6th.

I'm a proud 2x Trump voter, and do not support what happened on 1/6/21. I don't think it's worth the hand wringing and cry-babying that's going on with the left, but that doesn't mean I supported it. And by hand wringing I mean the utter lack of concern for BLM / Antifa riots that destroyed multiple federal buildings, while literally losing what's left of their natural minds over what happened on 1/6/21.

A liberal friend came running to tell me 'the Republicans are rioting! The Republicans are rioting!' He was so excited. This after a solid year of me complaining to him about Democrats rioting nightly including burning my town and personally trapping me when they held groups of cars hostage. I, of course, condemned the right rioting immediately. Before I even knew why they were rioting, I condemned it. 99.9999% of people on the right totally condemn this, including Trump, but this is pure gold to the left. They have rubbed this in our face for a solid year... as if Trump or the right support this. I did speak in generalities because the details aren't important. A bunch of crazy people rioted for a lot of different reasons and the right condemns all of it. I see the Proud boys as no different or better then Antifa. Everyone on the extremes just cause problems for the productive middle 90% of us.

The "BLM / Antifa riots" as you call them have nothing to do with the Insurrection. You Trumpers literally use that excuse everytime and everytime it is meaningless.
Don't you see that you are accusing us of not caring about the BLM protests but you expect us to believe that cared about January 6th? The BLM protests bothered me very much as did the George Floyd situation. I have this habit of caring about all of humanity.

But here is where you fail. The BLM protests did not threaten the government of the United States. there was no attempt to overthrow the government of the United States of America and end its 250 year history. Our nation is more important than anything else or any person or persons. Country first. YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE tried to end that. The January 6 insurrection was worse than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, and certainly more concerning than the BLM Protests.

But if you are going to bring up the BLM protests, why not bring up the school shootings or the Vegas shooter that you Trumpers seem to have no concern about. See how this can go round and round. The Insurrection was about our nation and it was ll brought out by Trump and his BIG LIE that he had been fomenting for months and is still peddling.

You finally make a rational point. Although if left unchecked, and the frequency/intensity of those riots continued to grow, they could get to that point relatively quickly, imo. But you also need to admit the attack on the capitol did not threaten the govt of the US. Even if the worst possible outcome had happened, our govt would have survived in the same state its in now, which is the same state it would have been in with no attack on the capitol. In fact, our govt is probably worse off now, bc of the attack. If we can trust the media (as "you guys" seem to) there are many rioters literally rotting in jail, with their health, and certainly their human rights being abused.

Two points.
First, regarding the impact of the BLM protests, there is no one on the planet Earth who can say that the Insurrection was not the result of Trump spoon feeding them the idea of the stolen election. That is a fact. Whether you blame Trump for the insurrection or not, you can't deny that fact. They were not there because of the price of gas or medicare coverage.
Once you acknowledge that, it comes down to Trump's claim. There has literally been ZERO evidence to support the stolen election claim.
Not only is there 100% proof that the election was legit, free, and fair by every court, judge, governor, AG, recount, audit, investigation, and even the SCOTUS, but there is 100% documented proof that the Big Lie was a pre-planned effort. We know this from those closest to Trump, document, quotes, eye-witness testimony, and 40 years of Trump's pre-existing behavior.

THEREFORE: Trump fomented the insurrection. There are others responsible too but Trump is the ring leader and MUST PAY for both his Big Lie and the Insurrection. THEN this nation can heal.

And the second point is that Biden didn't say "the truth is what I say it is." He said "this is the truth" and he was 100% right. You disagree? Show us one iota of proof that Trump's claim is even the tiniest bit true. Because except for some crazy conspiracy theories that have all been disproved, you folks have had NOTHING for the past 14 months. The list of conspiracy theories and how they have each been disproved is quite extensive. The list of Trump's criminal and unconstitutional efforts to compromise democracy and overturn a free and fair democratic election are 100% proven and well documented.
But i know, the Trumpers bring out their FOX News bingo cards: MSM, Deep State, Soros, Hillary, Irregularities, etc....

Hey.....BTW...did you hear that Maricopa county just released a 93 page document detailing how their election results were 100% legit and free of any fraud or irregularities? So if you are keeping track, that is 2 recounts, 2 audits by the GoP, 1 Trump-led audit, a dozen court cases, the governor, the attorney general, the FBI, and the SCOTUS yet the Trumpers will simply say "fake news, the election was stolen" even though they have zero proof.

I'm sorry but they have no leg to stand on. And justice is definitely coming for Trump and his allies.
