Since the site won't enforce its own rules, and MS owners are the closest thing to global mods, it's up to moderators and owners of this stream to enforce the rules given to them.

they wrote the underage rule in TOS, so bending it for certain users is already a lot. If we can disapprove images for breaking TOS, and delete comments for the same reason, it would just be a double standard to say TOS doesn't mean anything. If we do away with it, we may as well ban ourselves

I didn't say we bent the TOS. If we were to bend the TOS and let certain users in, it would be permissible to a degree. Imgflip doesn't enforce it, and as mods in its #2 stream, we are supposed to. I agree we keep them out because it isn't safe. If we lower the age rule, that lets people in who aren't ready for this

First, we enforce an age rule. Which means keeping people out.
Second, we're amending the age rule for the good of the population. Judging kids for their ability to take jokes, than for their birthday.
