False.
If that was the case, the question isn't why only one is, but why aren't the others?
If it's a universal truth or whatever, then limiting it to a dot on the map must be for a reason, and if you are not of those very very few selected, you are nothing more than an imposter, trying to lay claim to that which shall never be yours and by design of the God you refer to.
No, I don't remember because that was never Christianity. That is a stupid and childish corruption of the faith by people lacking either a brain, a spine, or both.
Confess that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead.
"Confess that Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead."
Confess? What does confession have to do that? Is it like some mantra or something? What does that mean in your life? A cover for your utter ignorance, steaming with your constant anger?
@Zak, the Episcopal Church is the American version of the Anglican Church (Church of England). There are over 110 million Anglicans worldwide, and 12 U.S. presidents are Episcopalian.
@Zak, I'll do you one better. This is what I recite in church:
I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.
So if you believe in one holy church and confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, you cannot also believe that all religions are equal. Which is it? Which is what you really believe?
@Zak, everyone is entitled to believe what they like. I was lucky enough to be born into the correct religion and denomination, but I can't blame everyone else since they weren't. ;-)
