You know that the ONLY people advocating for special "rights" are leftists. No one else does that. The rest of the country believes the Bill of Rights apply equally to all citizens regardless of gender, skin color or sexual orientation.

Rights are freedoms that do not infringe on other people's rights. What you're advocating are privileges and if any one disagrees with those privileges then your side accuses us of being against rights. That's utterly ridiculous. We're against privileges, especially when your side only promises those privileges just to get votes. And then you never deliver on those privileges. They're just platitudes.

The Alt Right movement was a resonse to Obama, and got an even bigger boost with the prospect of his reelection. Prop 8 wasn't exactly calming the ire of these goosestepping reactionaries down either.

You tell me what those special rights are. I don't know why they are needed. I've even heard of leftists trying yet again the Equal Rights Amendment.

That's false. What you are calling rights are privileges. It is illegal and always has been illegal to cause harm, either physical or emotional. So why does the LGBTQ community need anything more? Anything more would be privileges.

Like I said in another reply, Every single person in this country has equal protection under the law. You said earlier, "The 14th amendment guarantees all American citizens equal protection under the law". That has been in force ever since the later 1960's.

The ONLY reason why we have not always seen people rights protected is entirely the fault of the Democrat Party. They passed the Jim Crow laws. The right didn't do that and there was never any role reversal between the two parties. There were the Democrats who persecuted blacks and then there are the Democrats who figured it it is better to use blacks for political gain than persecute them.

The right has been quietly supporting the Constitution all along and because of that you call us Nazis and fascists. What is wrong with you people? Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations" is NOT "Mein Kampf"!!! The US Constitution and the Bill of Rights are NOT the Nazi party platform. Neither Hitler nor Mussolini wanted anything to do with the US Constitution. They hated it.
