Dems rely on class warfare, racism, x-phobic, etc so they can convince the uninformed that the reason their life is miserable is because of someone else.
The "delusional" part is a prerequisite for being a Democrat these days, IMO. I really think they are worse than that and actually fall into the "demented" category at least. A LOT of 'em are straight up mentally ill...
I do feel there is a distinction between genuine liberals and radical leftist liberals who work under the banner of liberalism and whom seek to carry out the very agenda you've described. Not that I am a liberal or Democrat, but just pointing it out.
Socialists hijacked the following words because other people were catching onto to them because they(other people) started to figure out what socialism really is and the words were 'Liberal' and 'Progressive'.
Another thing - They use words that are abstract in nature and treat them as concrete while expecting everyone to go along with it without a proper definition. Take Obama's 'Hope' line. He never defined what people were supposed to have hope in.
