None were charged with insurrection because there was no insurrection- that's the point Dumbass. Just another "peaceful protest" that got out of hand. Actually a relatively mild one, and far less deadly than the 500+ riots your fellow SJW criminal-looters committed when they burned down cities all across America during the "summer of love" 2020.

Hey, I feel anyone that burned a building or attacked a cop or shouted “hang the Vice President “ should be charged. And , if you understood the law, you would know that folks get charged with the crime that is easiest to get a conviction. Assault or arson or trespassing are easy convictions. Every case gets lowered to an easier conviction, every state, county or district. It doesn’t change trumps failed coup

Will try to be a little more open minded to opposing views... I know I tend to place too much importance on someone's username, and i tend to be slightly triggered by the provocative ones- (I know you'll find that hard to believe- uhhg). I should know by now that a username is not a true indicator of a person's whole character. I have a few other friends here from the other side of the aisle- or at least they are liberal memers with whom I can converse civilly, and i would like to expand those, and offer "the olive-branch" in the spirit of the holidays, if that's acceptable to you.

Thanksgiving was rough, had all the in laws and my side and everyone was broken off into factions based on political crap. It was funny to see my 75 year old mom getting along with my 70 year old mother in law because they both love the dems and my step father and my wife’s step father getting along because they both lean conservative lol.

I can relate.some of my family members are also in that age group now, and since they're getting too old to host the family Christmas eve gathering anymore, we decided to have it early at a nice Italian restaurant tonight instead. But the same kind of bizarre political divide is there too...our family seems to also be divided roughly 50/50 Right/Left. We all get that, so the subject of politics is pretty much "off the table"- no pun intended...when we visit, otherwise it would be like flicking matches at a powder-keg. It does make me sad. It's the one thing about the Trump-era that upsets me.I understand that people have very deep-seated & personal beliefs when it comes to politics, but as the kids say "don't blame the Playa' -blame the game. I continue to hold out hope that one day, those who are misguided will come to see the true genius of Trump & Conservatism.

I am a middle man. I like some conservative and some liberal policies. Although I do dislike trump, I am not on board with all of Biden’s crap . I’ve served, my son is serving. I own a irresponsible amount of guns. But I think no kid should be hungry in the United States. I also believe that nobody should be here illegally. I think we should teach our kids all of our history, but I also believe that no child should feel shame because of our history. And I believe that every eligible American should vote , and that is the right that I fought for, for another country. And my boy is doing the same now. It’s way easier to say these things on an app. It’s much harder to say it at the table with family.
