and there are things with overwhelming amounts of proof that people don't belive

that's fair, but the failure of a vaccine created hastily during a time like this should't be used to judge all of them

they are beneficial. but not in the ways people make them out to be.
they smell good, and they can clear your sinuses
but other than that, they don't really do much
they have no strong effects, so actual medication is better since it is proven to work effectivley

it hasn't been developed yet, we have treatments like chemotherapy, but we don't have an actual cure yet
but we do have vaccines that can prevent life-threatening diseases entirely
the covid vaccine is still not perfect but we can't wait until it is perfected
but for other ailments, we have perfected prevention systems
with most vaccines, the way they work is they inject a very small and very weak bit of the disease into the blood stream, and it helps the immune system learn how to get rid of it
it goes into the blood stream, and the white blood cells learn how to eliminate the invader
